Saturday Date Night
Me and the Mrs dont get many opportunities to go out on a date for an evening, but we managed to squeeze in an evening this last weekend.
We headed into the city just before sunset, and had a pre-show drink at one of the bars at Elizabeth Quay.
We were a little hungry, and so ordered these delicious arancini balls,
And enjoyed the sunset over the river.
After enjoying the view, we headed off to a show at St. George's Cathedral.
It was a contemporary dance routine, with some gymnastic or acroabatic influence to it. One of Mrs MJ's work colleagues was performing in it. The strangth and control of the dancers were incredible, but I must say the show wasn't something in my line of interest at all. Nonetheless, I was glad to hve gone to watch it, and spend some quality time with Mrs MJ. Happy wife, happy life!!
When the show was over, we had a dinner reservation a short walk up the road. The food was spectacular!
Mains were a juicy beef fillet on vegetables.
For desert we had a chocolate lava cake, and an asortment of icecream nd sorbet.
All up, it was a really good night out, and something we should really try to do more often.
Have a great day!
What an amazing time you had out and about and the food looks absolutely delicious. Should do that more often with your wife :)

Always wonderful to take some extra time to be with the one who is always there, but sometimes we forget all their many facets.
Looks like you had a most enjoyable night. I visited Perth a few years ago and it's a very special city. Didn't have the chance to go to Elizabeth Quay or St. George's Cathedral. Perhaps next time. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
