A busy day touring around Perth.
This morning we set out to show the in-laws around perth a little. Our first stop was Kings Park, where I did my best to walk them off thier feet. We went all around the park and finished off at the War Memorial in Fraser Avenue.
The memorial has all the names of Western Australian service men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty since World War I. It is quite a solemn place to visit.
After a couple of hiurs we went into the city and found our way to the Perth Mint.
These two guys were mesmerized by their find..
I was so mesmerized by all the shiny stuff inside that I completely forgot to take some pictures of awesome coins for my wishlist... so when I go home I visited my 1oz Silver Eagle.. Looking better than ever!
I saw some really nice coins to save up for too.
After the Perth mint we headed over to Cottesloe Beach for a quick walk around. It was blowing a gale, but the beach still looked beautiful.
Total distance walked today : 12.4km. Not a bad effort!!
Now we're home for an ice cold beer at the end of the day.. aaaaah!!
Wish that I have the chance to travel around the world and visit Perth one day as well! :)

Hopefully you get to come back and visit sometime soon. The city has changed a lot over recent years. I love it here.

Are you a local Perth-ite? I love kings Park, is it still over run by Pokemon fans or has that settled now, lol. In spring it's just beautiful. I hope your in laws enjoyed it.
Been here for almost 9 years now. Love life in Perth. Thankfully Polemon has died right down, and order has been restored in the park🤣😂. The in-laws did enjoy exploring the park and city today... or they were just being polite!!

We immigrated here from South Africa in 2009. Best move we've made. Perth rocks for sure... but in a pretty relaxed way!! Lol.
