Decision through emotion does not go well (Stress Management)

I have been having a hell of week and its not the good kind. Work stress has been killing me, altcoins are in a bearish run and my car broke down. Been feeling stressed, depressed and full of anxiety made me make wrong decisions which eventually..

GAVE ME MORE STRESS

Eventually with all the stress, I have not been that productive at all. And this has got to stop

So I got curious and read how to cope with stress and eventually worked! I want to share this to the community to those who are in low spirits right now. Here are some tips.

1. Take care of yourself

Give yourself a break when you feel down. It's a good thing to stop and breathe when things are falling apart. Eat healthy foods as they give you the energy needed. Exercise is also a good way to keep you positive even if its just brisk walking. Loving yourself and your body will make you happier and give you positive energy to handle the day

2. Talk to others

Sharing your problems or whatever in your mind will make you feel more secure as you have someone who got your back. It's great to share with the people you trust like your family and loved ones as you know you can share it with them. You can also write them in a notebook and reflect. Reading them will make you understand where you've been wrong and right.

3. Avoid drugs and Alcohol

This is not the answer. Getting drunk will eventually bring you more wrong decisions that you will regret. I had a friend who got fired and called me up to have a drink with him. We had our fair shots and eventually got drunk when his ex-boss called him to give him an opportunity at another company and let me tell you it was a good company. Well when you're drunk, you're emotions control you and eventually. Josh (My friend) screwed it up. (NSFW words involved)

4. BELIEVE in yourself

No matter what happens if you are up or down the roller coaster, at the end of the day the one who will be with you is yourself. If you get a promotion, you win in a competition or finish your goal of the day you treat yourself for a job well done. The positive mindset should also be when you are down. You didn't get the promotion, you didn't finish your job today or you lost, no worries. There's always another day tomorrow. Opportunity will always come around, the only thing stopping or preventing those opportunities is you.
