The Great Outdoors
A family of three living out in the wilderness in a remote part of Alaska for 18 years. The mother and father seem to be perfectly content with raising their 13 year old son in an environment similar to Tarzan.
I don't know, but living off the grid with no internet seems like it may do some good for the spirit and mind especially since they're 420 friendly.
The family does have access to power.
The closest store is 200 miles away via snowmobile. Imagine traveling to a store that far away and then encountering black bear, wolves, thin ice, falling trees and heavy duty snow.
I remember once talking to someone from Alaska. They said once they were going into some grocery store for food and when they came back out the parking lot was completely covered in snow.
This story did catch my eye because these guys are living off the grid away from authority. No?

I couldn't do it!!
You never know, when push comes to shove and that grid gets turned off...
Thanks for the message. I added you to follow list.

Thanks! When I was younger I loved going hiking and camping in the forests of Canada Kentucky West Virginia and Tennessee. Now I think i'm roughing it to get a hotel without room service :). I have gotten spoiled in my old age and I like it!
