Interesting, I hadn't really thought about this.

The term minimalism is deceiving, what's minimal for one, is abundance for another.
It all depends on where you're from and what you want.

In my opinion striving for minimalism is not the most important thing to do, it's living your life the best you can and bringing good to others as well.

If you can do that somewhere in a backroom with just a simple chair, that's fine, if you have a mansion and private plane, that's fine as well.

As long as acquiring stuff is not the most important part of your life.
