slow internet feels
Moving into my grandmothers house has been a blessing and everything but the internet connection here is archaically insufficient, I am staying with my cousin, my mother and my grandmother whos digital footprint would be below 10 gig a month! mine is unfathomably high and we have been running out of internet speed within the first few weeks of the billable month.. the following weeks feel like I am 15 again surfing the net on dial up...
My cousin will chat on some unknown chat site usually ( is that what gen z are into these days? i dont know) and my mother visits ansestory.com. Obviously I will need to upgrade soon but it is unfortunate that Australia internet providers are not competitive at an international level regarding data allowances, I have heard that in Taiwan you can get a mobile phone plan that has unlimited internet services provided. I think the best deal at the moment is about 70AUD per month for unlimited internet which isn't bad, I should be grateful.

If you can't get decent fixed broadband, I know Telstra does 80GB of 4G mobile broadband for $150/month, which is pricey, but a much bigger allowance than previous offerings.

yeah I think gen z may have their head screwed on tighter than y.. alot of the y's are very lethargic, torpid in career progression, in arrested development, living at their parents till 35 ect..
It's because of the internet, my father died when I was 4, so I pretty much raised myself with education on my computer, as I always wanted to be intelligent. Now I see it more as a curse, as most people don't care about intellect. All they seem to care about is what tv programs coming out next etc.. I think parents inflict a lot of their views on their kids. As I saw the world for what It really was.

I'm thankful for 4G LTE on my mobile phone and its currently unlimited, my home Cable Internet is 1 TB, but I believe its a soft limit, we are not currently being penalized for exceeding it. I do remember the days of dialup, omg 2400 bps was the pits and then 9600, 14.4, 28.8, 33.6 and OMG 56K. haha I'm so old I think I had ISDN service that offered 128K.
