It simultaneously gets harder and easier as time goes on.

It goes in evolutions -- one thing becomes simple (changing diapers) and you're immediately presented with a new challenge (getting them to sleep without losing your mind). Every day is a possibility for a new behavior or challenge that you've never seen before, but there is an ever growing list of things that you've mastered.

You're right though... single parenting is absurd and madness. It may be possible, but it can't be easy to do it well, especially if they're working and dropping their kids off at a daycare.

Congrats. I hope one of you wants to be the full-time parent! Very rewarding!
