Not only quran but also read bible or any other religion book you like you can study then compare them and adopt what your heart like most.. Coz all religions are agreed on one thing that is a single creator or god.. Then if he is creator someone is owner of this world meaning of our whole life will change after accepting this
And that bit is the major problem for me - is a river made by millions of raindrops or by a single god?
And whatever the answer is, could any person define it in a book?
As you say, we all have to choose our own path.

You are right.. Its human nature that our mind demand logics..
River is made from drops.. But these rain drops and making of these rain drops is the part of system created by allah.. We use word Allah for that creator and its a unique word it is only in Quran.. You can do one experiment.. I once read in a non muslim doctors book.. He wrote that he experiment on this word in all diseases.. And this word Allah has magical effects.. You can try it.. Only say this word again and again all time has magical effects.. You ll feel its effect in depths of your heart.. Can you imagine if the name is so powerful then how much powerful will be Allah Himself..
Quran also explains about rain 1400 years ago.. Meaning of verses is somehow like this that Allah made sun then heat of sun creates steam from see water.. This steam goes up and convert to clouds.. Then allah ordered air and it take clouds with it to the destination where allah ordered.. Then on its destination these clouds showered rain.. This rain on one side give a new life to plants an on otherside it increase quantity in riber water.. Allah create glaciers and when they melt results in creation of sea and rivers..
Quran a book that 1400 years ago told us about those things which were even not in a small part of human brain.. That book how can be an ordinary book.. This book is a live masterpiece.. Coz its not human written.. Its god wording.. Now how can anyone prove that its allahs word.. Its quran that will prove itself.. Who will read it with pure heart.. Quran will prove itself to his reader.. Doctor zakir naaek from india.. You can search his videos on youtube.. Thanks for all your info - there is a lot of wisdom in there but all religions put me off - I see them as allegories that often fall into corruption...
