Wednesday Cleanse
My room is a dust magnet. Not sure where it comes from but sure as night it drops in eventually. I get so busy sometimes that I ignore the cleaning reminders I have set in Google Keep. I press later when it comes up or ignore it altogether. Today I woke early as usual before 5am and just went in. Broom, mop, generic liquid cleaning product. Behold the attack of the poet sweeper.
My floor is a wire field. Gets really hard to clean when you got mad wires on the floor and you don’t want to turn off your computers. It is a delicate process but I get it done without shutting down computers. I need loud music when I clean. Puts me in recycle mode. Done with the old, give it back to creation.
Wish I had warehouse space. Computer workstation in the middle of the room. And just space all around it. A makeshift bed in a corner out of the way. A kitchen section in another corner with a table and couple chairs. And the same awesome space between all the elements in the room. No embellishments or decorations. So when am ready to clean I just fire up the vacuum and be done with it. It’s what I am shooting for eventually. Warehouse space not a traditional house or apartment. I will always choose space in my living area, over all the life things people put in their way. I have done computers jobs in some real claustrophobic houses. I can’t believe people cram so much stuff in their lives in these small spaces. I wonder if they ever feel the world closing around them.
The dust might come back tomorrow. I might be oblivious till it gets annoying and allergic. It’s all relative like most things in existence. Dust serves its purpose and I live with mine. The rest is coincidence. And mad respect to cleaners everywhere.
