Berlin - Buddy Bears

Today I was taking a walk around the wonderful city of Berlin, and came across this bear advertising a 'United Buddy Bear' exhibition just 50 meters away!

So I followed the direction which was down a side street away from the main road I was on, and there was a large open square packed full of these bears, each painted by artists from a different country.

The weather was terrible so I didn't hang around for long. But it was really interesting to see that these bears seems to travel the world. One of their first locations about 10 years ago, was to go to North Korea.
