Knowing the Giver!

in #life7 years ago (edited)

The ransom does not automatically bring everlasting life to all humans. Rather, Jesus said in prayer to God: "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you send, Jesus Christ." If you knew that someone so and so saved your life when you were a child, wouldn't you be more anxious to know about that person's life? God that gave us the life saving gift of the ransom, wants us not just to know who he is but to come in closer relationship with him. "Draw close to God," the Bible urges, "and he will draw close to you."
We have to keep our faith because John 3:36 tells us - "The one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life." So my friends it requires action to show faith. A gift becomes our owns when we ourselves try and reach out and accept it. So let us pray to God for forgiveness and a clean conscience. Thank God for all that he has given to us. And keep the brotherly love towards all mankind. Always remember this life is a gift which is given to us by God.
Thank you for reading.
