It is the natural right of every human being to be pleased to leave all the sufferings of life. It is abnormal to suffer, and it is just because of our lack of knowledge that we do endure. To obtain ideal experience, to understand the function of life, to understand the relationship of human beings to each other totally, is to put an end to all suffering, to get away every wicked and ill that affects us.
And so it is with all kinds of suffering we experience. When we have understood the lessons, they teach they are no longer required and vanish.
Why do we have opponents in whose words or acts we suffer? Since in our restricted physical awareness we do not view the unity of all life and understand that our incorrect thinking and doing should respond upon us through other individuals a circumstance from which there is no possible escape other than through stopping to believe wicked and after that patiently waiting for the time when the causes we have actually currently produced are totally tired. When spiritual lighting comes, and we do not stumble in the night of lack of knowledge, the last opponent will vanish, and we will make say goodbye to permanently.
Just since of the messing up lack of knowledge that makes their presence possible for us, and since we do not understand their significance and their lessons, nor understand the mindset to presume towards them. Had we, however, the knowledge to comprehend why they come to individuals, why they are needed aspects in their advancement, they would difficulty us no longer.
Primarily since it separates us from those, we like. The only other factor why death brings sorrow or worry is that we do not comprehend it and understand the part it plays in human advancement.
To achieve ideal knowledge, to understand the function of life altogether, to understand the relationship of human beings to each other entirely, is to put an end to all suffering, to leave every wicked and ill that affects us. Because in the plan of nature we are being required forward in development and we do not have the spiritual lighting that alone can light the method and allow us to move securely amongst the barriers that lie before us. The thing we do not have is the spiritual lighting that will enable us to look far and wide, discovering the concealed causes of human suffering and exposing the technique by which they might be prevented; and if we can, however, reach lighting, the evolutionary journey can be made both conveniently and promptly. Therefore the light that leads to joy is kindled from within, and the evolutionary journey that all are making might be robbed of its suffering.
