One of the must-do's on the list was ofcourse, Pokemon! There are several centers around Tokyo, but we happened upon one that was neighbouring the Pokemon Café... which I will be posting about, so keep an eye out 😏
I am a player of Pokemon Go, and have a lot of childhood memories based around the show. So it only made sense to visit at least one of the Pokemon Center's whilst in the originating country.
We were there in the morning, so it wasn't busy. Which made it easier to look around and take in all the Poke-Goodness!
The entrance (or exit) surprises you with colourful themed walls, creating a funky atmosphere.
And then there's all the goodies!
Ranging from stationery to plushies, accessories & clothing, etc.
Heck, there's even an arcade game if that tickles ya fancy...

Do you also have the 3DS Pokemon games? I don't know if there's any special event going on right now, but I know that the Pokemon Centers sometimes hand out special pokemon to players with the games on the 3DS.
Unfortunately I don't! I was hoping there would be some sort of special or surprise for Pokemon Go, but literally just a gym that was constantly being taken over lol
