To me such vacations are a motivational force to keep trying to be successful so I can have more of this. Also a thing that helps is not hating your job. Finding a job that you don't hate is a goal on it's own.
Sure you got a glimpse of the contrast of having fun and having routine at a dead end job. That should be motivating if anything.
That surely is the right mindset to pick from such occasions!
You're right, and in the future if I need a job I'm not going to stay in one that makes me miserable. It's just the situation where I am doesn't really have quitting as an option (technically I could try change my service place but that would be one hassle and no guarantee for getting anything better instead).
But I've been learning to use the time during it to my advantage, to build something out of Steemit and will keep carrying on.
