What and Who the Heck is KEK?

You know those memes of PEPE the frog or people talking about KEK and wonder what the hell the fascination is with a badly rendered Amphibian with a cult like following and people congratulating each other on being Top KEK....Well Steemians , my adventures into the outer reaches of the interwebs have led me to the Mythos and History behind the "Frog God and Pepe". Kek is/was an Egyptian Deity of Darkness who sometimes had the head of various creatures like cats and such but primarily sort of wound up being the form of an Egyptian Kermit.
I am still diving into the underbelly of why exactly Meme Magic is supposedly a real thing (thinking group thought), and how Pepe is now actually involved as sort of a mascot in some political leanings and circles. We live in high strangeness and it is really amazing how something that catches flies and hops around croaking became an interwebs Icon and Archetype for sub-culture tribal unification.
