Life got easier once I understood that the only thing I am really in control of is my self. The ability to choose my own reaction to everything is probably the most powerful realization that I've ever come to. The harder I try to control things around me, the more frustrating life seems to become.

Oh man, I've been down the rabbit hole for months now. Running a business, trying to book work for 2018, four intercontinental and 3 domestic flights in two months, oh and a move from north america to europe in the past four months as well. Finding a new home, fixing and furnishing it, learning a new language, setting up a business in a new country. Inhibitions be damned, I just want some sleep but I'm up all night from the jet lag. At least I have some time to post on Steemit though ;)

Well written. Nothing easy is simplistic and raw, this is so true. As if the universe craves something unique, something with challenge, conflict, and hardship. Or maybe that hardship is only the way we see it.. maybe to the universe its just 0s or 1s, or maybe not, who the fuk knows
