Moving Past Depression is a powerful book, written by Susan Clark. The main character of the story, Phyllis, comes from a family of alcoholics. Her mother died when she was young and she was left with her alcoholic father and three boys to raise. As Phyllis got older, she struggled with her own feelings of worthlessness, insecurity, and helplessness.
