You have to forgive the other person no matter what they do. But you can divorce them if they cheat. If they beat you up you can press criminal charges. You're free to end the relationship if necessary. You aren't called to be someone's doormat or punching bag.
Totally agree, but we must also understand that God can restore all who believe in him.
