NATURE BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER
I always find myself having similar conversations with people about life and how the world works.
I always then think too myself is everyone else in the world having these same/similiar conversations or am I just attracted too like-minded people.
The picture below was taken this year in Laos at 4000 island Don Det. On this particular day me and a Dutch girl I met at the hostel I was staying at, set out on our hired bikes towards the WIDEST WATERFALL in the world (Khone Phapheng). We were at the lookout taking in the beautiful scenery and nature and getting some cool snaps. We started talking to 2 girls one was from Australia and another from Canada. We decided we would walk down stream and find somewhere safer too jump in the river and have a swim. During the swim we met another 4 backpackers , one from England, another Dutchy and a Korean guy. ( Chinese girl taking picture )
We hung out all afternoon drinking beers, playing pool, swimming , bike riding and as the sun was setting we each paid 25000 Kip which is about $4 AUD and got a local to take us out on his boat to try and spot some RIVER DOLPHINS.
Such a beautiful time of afternoon it was. I had never even heard of river dolphins????? and did not have high hopes of seeing them, but the local guy was sure we would see them and even said " NO see NO pay' .
What an amazing experience that was, 4 river dolphins jumping and splashing around us in the middle of one of the widest rivers in the world. Biggest smile on my face it was such a perfect day and afternoon with new friends for life.
Too finish the day we all rode back in towards the little village we were staying at and went out too dinner and had some more beers.
Later on in the night we found out the we were all SOLOTRAVELLERS ..... All setting out travelling alone and all coming together on a day like this. That day I will always remember forever and am grateful to have met these great like-minded people .
NATURE BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER
My passion now is travel and meeting and learning off new people. Ever since I started travelling I have changed and grow into a much better human being.
I am a more outgoing and less judgemental person now because I've found out we are all the same and no one in anyway is better than anyone else.
Every day I tell myself "do what makes you feel good Zac" , smile and surround yourself with like-minded happy people, because it'll make your life and day so much happier and interesting.
So everyone reading this when you wake up tomorrow , smile straight away (your alive) go out of your way to talk or help someone new. You never know the new person you meet could be in some way just like you and you could learn something interesting or new and grow off them :)))))))))))))))))))))))))
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE
ONE LOVE ~! No Judging . Smile. Laugh
Hello, @barefootraveler (Zac), and Welcome to Steemit.
Steemit is home to a number of successful travel blogs, but there's still room for more. Particularly unique and interesting ones such as what you hinted at in your intro.
Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.
Hope this helps for now. Good luck, and Full Steem Ahead!
Awesome, these are all great tips. Ill take them into consideration on my next blog. Keep an eye out and keep the feedback coming :) Thanks a lot.
That was nice
