Away from the city

I had a chance to go far away from Sylhet by riding a motorcycle for the first time. Yes, My family don't know it but I did it. It's risky but it was important to go there. I will let you know the purpose of the long trip with the motorcycle. Well, do you see the road behind me? this looks more than a few km without any concrete road.

I visited some houses in the village and also got some experience in their lives. I meet one of the @SchoolForSDG4's children there though I had another purpose to meet the family. About 30 KM I had to ride the motorbike to reach there.

When I was on the river, I asked a woman the name of the river as I was confused with the river name. We have few rivers in Sylhet and her answer helped. But after a few minutes, the women came back to me and asked that "Why I asked her about the river name?" I said for nothing. She said " Oh! I thought you are going to help us as I have no home". There were a few private vehicles and I thought I need to move as early before sunset.

Here is the picture I have taken from the bridge. It seems it was built long ago and it is called an old bridge. As it is a rural area, it is not much developed. I was lucky that I had decided to get some petrol before starting the journey. The river is still a big source of fish which also flows throw our locality. So if I could start the journey by boat, I could come to my home. River journey was very popular but now it is a rare journey until we need to pass the river.
