Have you ever wondered how some people seem to have this ability of staying happy even if everyone around them is disappointed? It almost looks as if they've found some secret to eternal happiness. We start to assume that people like these have no problems in their lives and that they live in absolute luxury and royalty, which might be true for the rich minority, but still is a false assumption for the rest.

It would definitely be an interesting thing to learn how these people manage to keep themselves away from all the negatives vibes and only take in the positive ones. Even if different people have different ways of keeping themselves happy, some aspects are definitely common among most of them.

They Understand Their Own Worth.

Usually the reason for our disappointment is none other than the people around us. The people who try to make us believe that we're not worth it. We're so quick to doubt our own self image because of someone else's perception of us that it makes us doubt ourselves which drops down our self-esteem. People who understand their own worth are less likely to be affected by other people's opinion of them.

They Know How To Stand Out.

Oftentimes if not always, people who are usually happier are more aware of their social environment and they know how to stand out among a crowd. They don't follow others but instead, create their own path and make it the new norm. They know how to be different and that's why it's pretty hard to convince them to "go with the flow".

They Are Honest.

Studies show that honesty is directly related to a person's happiness, health and overall well-being. People who are generally more honest than others, have less to worry about and don't have to bear the burden of remembering everything that they said and therefore are happier. It seems like honesty really is the best policy in the long run when you think about it.
