Well digested Peman, i would like to add that Fate is that power that is believed to control what happens in the future (things unforseen) while Coincidence can simply be a situation where two or more similar things happen at a time, much in a way that is surprising. Both fate and coincidence are two things that cannot be controlled by humans. I think that fate is considered to be predetermined or planned (mostly by a supernatural power) whereas coincidence is accidental and unplanned. I believe in fate.
