We tend to think that the perfect life is to be successful. We work hard and try our best to be "rich". We want big mansions, expensive cars etc. We think that finding  companionship is something very important and that being loved by someone other than ourselves will some how elevate our level of importance. Yes, it is great to find a person who will love you and be supportive to you. However, if you don't have that as yet, it is not the end of the world. We focus too much on how we think "it should be". The truth is that there is no perfect life. You can't have everything. True happiness is found in being grateful with the good that you do have and being patient and accepting that which you don't have. There's a lot to be grateful for, no matter what condition or situation you are in because things could always get worst, that's life. Be appreciative with what you currently have because you don't want to have to lose it to be able to understand the value or importance that it had in your life. When you start showing gratitude and overlooking the bad, life changes completely. It is okay to break down and feel sad sometimes but for limited time. Once something is done, it is over. You can't go back in time and change things but you can learn from the past and how you would do things differently in the future. Having a positive outlook on life is so important. That's why I say that happiness comes from being content. Remind yourself of all the blessings and goodness that you have. When you start to count the blessings that you have, you will start to feel guilty for never appreciating all that you have. You don't need to be rich, famous, or appreciated by everyone. Try your best, appreciate the people and things that you do have, be grateful and stay positive!!
