Chronicles of Alan: Bad Things that have Happened!

As most of you know I have been staying in Florida Park again ( since I started posting on Steemit.)
This is where from the age of 12 I grew up , and every now and then a turn down a road will bring back a long forgotten Memory.
This occurred earlier this week where a fairly long road called "Die Ou Pad" joins into 9th Ave, at a Traffic Light ( Robot in South Africa)
My Dad had a Good Friend who stayed in the House on that Corner, lets call him Bill G.
Bill and his Wife had two Beautiful Daughters , the oldest was about 2 years older than me.
I cannot for the life of me recall their names?
The eldest Daughter started Dating a Guy with a Mustang, and evidently he was a real showoff!
Bill takes his annual leave and the Family are going to Durban for a Holiday.
The Boyfriend is Going With and has taken his Mustang and is following them.
The Girl keeps nagging her Parents to let her ride with him!
Eventually at a fuel stop they concur, off she goes ecstatic and gets in the Mustang.
No sooner are they back on the open Road again , than they go flying past Bill's Car , waving and laughing, Head On into an oncoming Truck!
Both of them succumbed to their injuries !
Bill and his Wife never recovered from this, it was not long and they moved away, So many people I have known through the years, never really recover from the loss of a child!
I obviously cannot put that accident scene on( and would not if I had it) , here are a couple of Mustang Drivers bending their cars. ( luckily under controlled circumstances).
Sports are dangerous. We know who we can face.

Here you would certainly get a ticket for no forward vision!
I know a lady that made a bad call and was in an accident. She lived but her 3 kids did not. I often wonder how one goes on from that...
