TRAI chief puts his Aadhar number online, challenges everyone to leak his private data, Elliot Anderson responds

The chairman of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, R.S. Sharma tweeted,"My Aadhar number is 762177682740. Now I give this challenge to you: Show me one concrete example where you can do any harm to me!"

Mr. Sharma has put up an open public challenge claiming that making Aadhar number public can do no harm to me. He has worked with UIDAI and claims that no one can do any harm to a person whose Aadhar number has become public.

Mr. Sharma did all this to prove the news wrong of Aadhar number compromises the privacy of the person.

After his tweet, many tweeted on their account by leaking his dob, phone number, address, etc.

Even the French Security Researcher Elliot Anderson too tweeted on his account with Mr. Sharma's dob, alternate phone number, address, etc.

Elliot Anderson claimed that there are no bank accounts linked with this Aadhar number. Whereas Mr. Sharma said in return that his all bank accounts number are linked to the same Aadhar number. He also said that if anyone would have leaked his bank account then also he could not have done any harm to me.

Mr. Sharma emphasized that no one can do any harm to him by leaking his personal data. Whereas Elliot Anderson emphasized that the leaking of your dob, phone number, address, bank account number, etc. shows that you have no privacy.
