Journey to Authenticity #001 - Introducing The Authentic Warrior
Reading time: 2 minutes
"(...) the playing of games (...) an ongoing series of complementary ulterior transactions progressing to a well-defined, predictable outcome. Descriptively it is a recurring set of transactions, often repetitious, superficially plausible, with a concealed motivation; or, more colloquially, a series of moves with a snare, or "gimmick" (...)" - Eric Berne
Welcome to my blog called The Authentic Warrior!
In some way or for some reason you have stumbled upon this blog and I'm happy you did.
Where there can't be happiness without sadness, there can't be fun without work. It would get so boring in life when everything would just go smooth all the time, without a challenge. Sometimes I don't even agree with the latter, especially in times I just want it to go smoothly. But F.Y.I. you'll grow when things get tough, you'll grow when you take on a challenge you have always postponed to take on.
Many things I experience in life aren't unique. Although, mostly they are unique, but a lot of people relate and resonate with the same things but then view it from their own set of eyes and their own set of emotions and feelings.
Through this blog I want to share with you my experiences in the journey called life, together with psychological theory and spiritual practice. Until now, it has been a very interesting journey and I don't want to leave it unnoticed.
Have fun reading and I hope you'll get something out of it too!
P.S. The quote at the start of this article is from the book "I'm OK, You're OK" by Thomas Harris based on "Transactional Analysis" by Eric Berne. If you are interested in the book, you can click the link below to find it.
