Why do good businessmen turn out to be excellent students?

One of the most paradoxical features that can harm entrepreneurs is the mind. Yes, the more successful and talented you are, the harder it is to own a business.
You may think that the mind, motivation and talent can make any person an excellent candidate for the role of entrepreneur, but unfortunately the matter is often not at all in this.

I'm the best in any business

The problems of smart people start from school when the first horrifying "group projects" appear. Knowing the working rule of "80 \ 20" (when 80% of the work is done by 20% of people), what do you think happens in each group project? The cleverest and most talented people in each such group decide that they will have to do the lion's share of the work. They do not want to risk their assessment, sharing the work equally and hoping that Timmy, the guy who does not appear in the class two days a week, and wakes up the next three days, will do his part well, if at all, remember about it. At school it is useless to try to rush this Timmy. Forget about this - smart people just take it upon themselves and make the whole project themselves.

So the working cycle of intelligent people begins. They do almost everything better than anyone else. They write better, plan better and reason better. They are better until it comes to owning a business. Then they are no longer the best, but squeezed in a vice.

In the day only 24 hours and a person still needs to sleep, eat, shower and do other things. As a result, an intelligent person tries to do all the work on his own every day, because he can not allow someone else to do it badly. Then he sticks in the image of a "man-orchestra" and, ultimately, can not grow.
