How smart is your ego?
Your ego can possibly get in the way of achieving your goals, success in business or whatever you want out of life!
Been striving all your life?
It’s been pumped into us for years that we must think big to become successful in life!
So there we’ve been working your heart out, trying so hard to be successful, and nothing special happened. And perhaps still struggling at the age of 60 or 75!
Why? You did all you could to make it happen! What got in the way?
You did it alone!
There are so many reasons why people do it alone. But basically:
- You couldn’t afford to pay someone to work for you. You didn’t have capital to set up your business, or for advertising.
- You were overwhelmed, scared to venture out. You didn’t know how to set up a business. And afraid of any trouble that could perhaps occur, in the process of running the business.
Let’s face it…
You can’t do it alone:
Think about it:
- Even if you did set up the business… you’ll need customers!
- You only got so far up to now, because some people believed in you and your product or talent.
Your ego can only be so big:
You can be a fantastic artist, for instance. You know you’re painting the most exciting paintings and your family thinks you’re the greatest artist ever. But your paintings aren’t selling. The problem is; there aren’t enough people recognizing your talent.
If you had experienced some success so far:
- Did you stop to think who was supporting you up to that point?
- Your business didn’t grow because of you. In fact it was the labour which supported you.
- Did you also realize that God was silently backing and assisting you up till now?
That’s when humility kicks in and confidence sinks in. You begin to understand your skills can only go so far. If you want your business to go BIG time, you better…
Get effective staff:
- To make your business grow, learn from the wise and successful. And get highly skilled people to work for/with you.
- And having got so far, your confidence has grown somewhat. Now you realize you can handle the `big boys’. . People even more talented than you, doing things you can’t do.
Passing shot:
- That means we need each other! If we work as a team, we’ll be more successful.
- If we are more friendly and helpful, we’ll have more connections. When a crowd is cohesive, greater things are achieved.
A big ego can be an obstacle in any business. There can be those days when you have to beat down your own ego to connect with business partners.
Since abig ego can lead to more insecurities, it denies most people that room for improvement in most fields.

The human ego prevents him from achieving his goals. This is because the good EGO person considers himself superior to the rest. Overestimated self-esteem in one way or another harms in all spheres of life. A person overestimates his capabilities.
I fully agree with this. Even traders who are engaged in independent trade need help.
Interaction is the main factor of growth in any sphere of life. The only way to change the situation is to realize that your ego is the anchor that keeps your success.

To start a successful business one should believe in it and not worry about the consequences, if he believes in it and gives his 100% in it he will suceed, also luck and the determination of the staff also plays a significant role in expanding a business.
I do believe ego is important when you are starting out. It's part of building confidence and belief in yourself and your product. Keeps you boosted through trials. But when you've made it, an inflated ego can upset other people. There certainly comes a time when you realize the support of a good team is what helped to make your business great.

Ego is a diesese or illusion which will help you initially but then with time it will become a guilt, no who can satisfy your soul, its just a temporary form of feeling happy about yourself but in the end only thing that will count is your well being with fellow humans.. So smile with them
For success ego is important ...And staff is key of success...Ex. without devotee god is nothing .Same without staff business can't improve ...It's staff hard work that the key of success of business 😉
Your staff does matter and also the people that support you and back you up. You need that.
Most things in life can't be done alone.
And it's also more effective when you have some people with you.
It's also let scary to start a venture when you're not alone
sometimes you can do it alone !
but usually to achieve something big you need to keep your ego aside ,and work collectively to make it happen .you need support for which you need to make compromises
When it comes to moving forward in life ego is the enemy. Both in success and in failure, ego only gets in the way and holds us back.Keeping our ego in check in success keeps us focused on the same processes that got us to those victories in the first place and ensures we humbly keep working towards our goals.
