Industry Visit is one of the existing learning programs in every department in Polytechnic, one of them is Civil Engineering Department. In Civil Engineering, this Industrial Visit will bring students to an industry agency to see what developments include what technology is being used or what technology is existing and that is being developed within the scope of the industry visited. Related to the reason why this is implemented, this program is held because it is expected to be able to provide inventory and preparation or provision for the implementation of KP program (Work Practice) which is held in the next semester.

Kualanamu International Airport

Kualanamu International Airport (IATA: KNO, ICAO: WIMM) is an airport located in Deli Serdang District, North Sumatra Province. The airport is 39 km from Medan city. This airport is the second largest airport in Indonesia after Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Location This airport formerly used the plantation area of ​​PT Perkebunan Nusantara II Tanjung Morawa located in District Beringin, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. The construction of the airport is to replace the 85-year-old Polonia International Airport. Kualanamu Airport is expected to become a "Main Hub" which is an international transit base for the region of Sumatra and surrounding areas. In addition, the policy to develop the Kualanamu International Airport is due to the existence of Polonia International Airport in the middle of Medan which has operational limitations and it is difficult to be developed and the condition of facilities available at Polonia Airport is no longer able to accommodate the need of air transport services tend to increase.
