The choice between safety and growth….

There is nothing wrong with safety – sometimes it is simply the only choice we can make but the important thing is that we make the choice consciously, having fully considered the option for growth, and decided that this time we need to make safer choice, not through fear, but through necessity. But we have to realise that safety doesn’t move us forward or develop us, and we cannot live to our full potential by playing it safe. Achieving our goals and dreams only comes when we step well outside our comfort zone, and that only happens when we make the choice for growth…

You will find that if you choose growth, family and friends do not always agree and sometimes try to convince you to stay on the safety path. That is a difficult one - they are invariably trying to help and protect you. And sometimes they see things about you that you do not, but by the same token; they will not know all that you know, especially about why growth is so important to you.
