Our lives are all different, and so is our knowledge and experience. I probably know stuff you don't, and you definitely know stuff that i don't. In my exeperience, people are always happy to share what they know if you are willing to ask politely and then listen carefully to what they share with you. You don't have to agree with what they say - and actually, real change and improvement comes from doing something different to their experience - but you will definitely learn something either way...
I always think that the idea of learning from people's life experience when having conversations with them is really amazing rather that having small talks or complaining about life or people. People's life experience are priceless. You'll be amazed by how much you can learn just by listening and sharing.
