Finding Happiness and Meaning in Poverty - India

Hardship, sickness, despair, doubt. These are what many of the Indian people experience on a daily basis.

As you might know, India is the country with the second largest population size in the world, but the living conditions for many of its' citizens are not something to brag about.

During our travels, we witnessed terrible sights. Many people living in the outskirts of the big cities, having created houses out of scrap and living without medical assistance and even scarcely finding food.

Majority of the poor Indians take to selling trinkets on the streets in dire search for the first tourist with the wish to buy something out of them. Many would consider their life unbearable.

And yet, in all this chasm of hardship we say commitment to one another and the ability to feel happiness in the small things. To appreciate the small pebbles life throws at you.
