Mauritius - A symbol of pious nature

Mauritius is an island in the Indian Ocean. The place is very well known as a perfect honeymoon destination, therefore me and my husband decided to hit Mauritius for the same reason. North and West coast are preferable for the stay in the Island. And we preferred the North coast because of it being less crowded than the west coast. The best period to visit Mauritius is Dec to Feb. The stay was planned in Le Meridien Hotel which opens to the "Pointe aux Piments" beach the view from the hotel was as follows -

The Island is as tiny as 65km (north to South ) therefore the commutation doesn't eat much of time as the city is not at all busy , traffic issues are never faced. The view from the highest peak of Mauritius is somewhere like-

The city in Mauritius is Port Luis and lies in the center of the small Island. The city comprises of MNCs, Banks , Local markets, duty free mall etc. The rest of the Island is filled with residencies or the forests.

In the west coast of Mauritius there is Casela National Park the highlight of this park is that you get to pet the lions (obviously under the supervision of the crew). You get about 50 Mins to walk in the forest with lions also with the opportunity of touching , peting , playing around them. Yes you have certain small dos and don'ts there but that is not much in front of the experience you get the lions. The visit t national park also includes Safari where they stop by in the middle of the jungle and the ostrich , Giraffe , Zebra etc peep inside the open bus and you can pet them even. Those who have interest in wildlife should definitely visit the park.

Now in the South coast , they have Vallée des Couleurs Park where Zipling and professional Quad Biking is available. We did 1.5km Zip Lining which they claim to be worlds third largest Zip lining activity. The place is breathetakingly Beautiful, the whole zip lining activity duration makes you feel you are flying in a place that is so green , so beautiful not less than a paradise in itself.

You can also explore the Curious Corner of Chamarel , very interestingly the mirror maze has been made in a house. The concept is very interesting to have fun.

The Mauritian Island is famous for luring its visitors to the unbelievable beauty of the Chamarel on its western coast. The enticing charm of the seven colors dyeing the soil is indeed a sight no one wants to miss in the lap of the pious nature.

Mauritius also includes Indian temples, gardens with rare species of flora and fauna and you can have a unique experience of swimming with dolphins.
The city offers very good accommodation with so many services like world-class spas, top-flight golf courses, sauna, massages, private Jacuzzi, well-designed gardens and such mouthwatering food.

For me there could not have been any other place than Mauritius that is ideal for the honeymoon kind of an experience where after the tiring wedding you would want to cut off from the world and just be on your own with your partner.
