What if your intentions and plans go astray?

in #life6 years ago (edited)

Bob woke with the hum of his internal alarm clock. His feet hit the floor, this morning at 8:30 was his long awaited job interview. He really wanted this job, more than any other, it is ideal, tailored made. It has his name on it. Bob could taste it.

He has everything synchronised, he feels good. He starts his old car, but there is only a funny burring noise. What? Can't be? A dead battery? His head falls onto the steering wheel. Maybe the road assistance company will get to him in 10 minutes? He rang, they are polite and said that they would be at his place in an hour.

Why now? Will I walk, catch a bus, ring a friend, ring a taxi? Which will get me there on time? He may live outside in an outer suburb but he is not beaten. There is always a way, he is used to being tested!

The taxi delivers Bob to his destination 2 minutes to spare. No time to think or worry before sitting in front of three impressive executives. Bob swallows!

As arranged the road assistance guy finds Bob's keys in the pot plant. He puts a new battery in and leaves his bill.

Does Bob get his job? Yes he is one happy man and learned that the universe might provide but he makes it happen. He believes that God helps those who help themselves!

Cheers and Blessings

A plan is good, but its the movement, the stepping out that gets God conspiring to help!

Hi @michaelglass, yes it is. It is said that on Earth the planning is not enough we have to act to make it happen.
