Serious Photographers take their art earnestly ~

I have great respect for the art of photography. You see, I have regularly observed skilful and clever photographers in action with their valuable camera and lenses. The one thing they all have in common is their devotion and high level interest. It is all about the right light, the right spot and the right time of day. Then, I see these photographer friends of mine, who I might add are above average with the quality of photos they take, spend an inordinate amount of time studying and editing their photos. It is such a serious business. Their photos are beautiful and I can understand why people rave about them. I used to wonder whether I could take anywhere photographs as good as them.

Then synchronicity happened! I spent some time with a photographer when walking long distances in far off European places like Portugal, Spain, Italy and Germany. I watched him in action and better still he gave me some pointers. Now, overtime I take a shot his words run around my mind. "Look at the light, consider the angle, look for overhead wires."
I really appreciated the lessons and I really believe that my photographs have improved. But the question is: "Are they good enough to have the photography tag on steemit?
