We need to be Time-efficient, not Time-obsessed
Do you scroll through your social media feed for hours and can't get your eyes from it? Do you play games for hours holing your pee? Do you work after your office hours and can't get time for your family? Are you getting less sleep because of useless works? If the answers are Yes, then you are not time-efficient for sure. ou fail to allocate time properly. But, you may argue that you are getting your things done at the end of the day. Then, maybe you are time-obsessed.
I'm not here to blame you or make your feel bad. Coz, I'm also included in the list. It's not always possible to be time-efficient every single day. We can't be productive every single day. But, what I'm saying is we should not make it our habit to not time-efficient. Coz it's something which can fail us every aspect of our life. That, why I believe we need to work on as soon as we realize this.
An efficient worker can be easily achieved by properly setting up your environment: aligning your workload with your individual capabilities, aligning your time with your schedule, and monitoring yourself to tell you if you are losing your focus or how fast you can focus on your own thing. By being more efficient, you will save time which will be allocated elsewhere - and that's all you want!
I believe that when you do not have time for any of those things, you have to create time. You have to think of that item as a proper priority which makes time don't come easy. And if you could be truly time efficient, then you wouldn't need any of those distractions, you'd just be on with your life.
Catching up on something is fine but we need to budget our time. Like, if you spend too much amount on such thing which is not helping you anyway or it doesn't add much value to your life; it's not actually anything which you need to focus on. Maybe we all have seen how people ruin their day or even life putting efforts on a toxic relationship, knowing that it doesn't gonna work. Don't make yourself obsessed with something rather try to make it efficient.
Leave some time to breathe. Try to take some time to make a schedule. It doesn't mean you have to be like a machine. Rather, we can be more human in this way if we can make ourselves more efficient in time management in every aspect of our life.
