What Makes A Good Leader?

We often come across the term leadership but many people rarely understand what leadership is all about.

Leadership is the willingness to sacrifice yourself, your comforts, your perks when it matters for the good of your people.Leadership is not a rank but it is a choice, it is a responsibility to offer protection to those to the left and to those to the right.

There are some people who have positions in authority who are not leaders and there are some positions those have no formal authority who are very much leaders!The formal rank is secondary to your willingness to sacrifice for your tribe.

The very definition of leadership is not your ability to get people to do things, it's not your ability to get people to do your bidding.The very definition of leadership is to offer safety and protection to those in your care so that they feel so safe in the environment they live and work that they would voluntarily offer their blood, sweat and tears to see your intention, your vision and your goals advanced.
