My main reason for joining steemit was to challenge the status quo in every sphere of our society and to make our young people think outside the box.

You remember the biblical Esau?

Esau was more loved by the father but Jacob was more blessed, Jacob got the blessings because he had a clean head not just a clean heart . So many people are washing their hearts but with dirty heads.

Christians just want to make heaven, heaven is achieved in the heart but success is made with the head not the heart. When we stop doing what we should do to feed the head, and keep growing the heart alone, we grow into states that could well be described as RIGHTEOUSLY UNSUCCESSFUL .

Preachers have taught us that heaven is ultimate, true; but the earth was first of all made for us to conquer. The blessings of God doesn't meet you on bed, it meets you at your place of duty, work or talent.

Yes your heart is right with God, is your head right too with God?

Success isn't am accidental discharge, neither is it sexually transmitted, you work out yours, else no one will do so. Success is like a captured lion, if you don't tame it, it can mess you up. Success is weighty, it can crush you if it meets you weak and unprepared, success has to be tamed.

It can even destroy the owner of the success.

How To Manage Success:

1. Avoid Pride:

Proud men don't last, there are so many men who rose and never lasted up there.

1. Avoid Sin:
   This is one single way destinies are thwarted, avoid sin.

2. Don't carry Excess Luggage:
   On your way to success, be careful about excess luggage, stop trying to help everyone when you don't have the capacity yet. A man who stops to attend to everything on the highway will never get to his destination. Carry what you can carry.

About Extra Luggage

The very first time I travelled by Air was in October 2010, this flight was facilitated by Uncle, who was a Local Government Chairman then, but the purpose of travel was organized by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, this was my first time in the Air.

It was an afternoon flight, slated for 1:00pm, we got there few minutes before the slated time, but there was a problem. We carried excess luggage after the airport allied staff had weighed our baggage, we were asked to pay for the excess luggage and guess what? The cost of the excess luggage was almost more than our flight tickets put together.

Wisdom will preserve you, but without it you pay more than Wise Men pay, because you failed to have a clean head.
