Why I am succesfull at what I'm doing
Hello everyone,
My name is Amadeus, I am 17 years old and love playing soccer. Currently I play for a second division team in Germany. Next to soccer I also go to school and play piano. All of these hobbies take time and passion to get better and therefore I train, learn and play everyday. People tend to think that the life of a soccer player is an easy one, but I can tell you it isn't. Waking up at 7, working in school, going straight after school to soccer practice and exercising my piano skills at home later, takes a lot of power day by day. People always ask me, why am I doing this, although I could stop all of it and minimize my stress level? The answer is: Loving what you're doing! Love and passion can let you rise above all others and bring you to levels which you could have never imagined. I hear so often about people who do things which they don't like, just because of the money. And yeah, money is cool, but in the end, without passion you'll never be that successful at your job/business or whatever. When my friends ask me about advice for things they wanna do, I always have that one quote to tell them: "Do it with passion or not at all.". With that quote I keep going through life and it has helped me ever since. I tried a lot of things which didn't make me happy, but I then decided to stop, because I thought it wasn't the right thing for me. And the sooner you know that something doesn't fulfill your heart, STOP DOING IT! And go to the next thing. People so often stick to a thing, which lets them fall in a deep hole of unhappiness. Everyone has a passion, you just gotta go out there and search for it. Search for it until you found it. There's no limit for searching for your passion, it may take a month, maybe a year or even a day. Many people just take what they get and try to be happy with it, but thats definitely the false way to approach such things.
Life is good guys, be patient, be humble and love what your doing.

I am 25. Just found up my passion, which is basketball. I played it when I was 17 or something and out of sudden Idk why I quit and play something else.
I know it can be so late and hard to play especially with just recovered knee (ACL) plus no one here playing basketball. I do get jealous whenever Im playing basketball with teens here cause they got so much time to learn/play yet I'm so glad I found my passion. I've been practicing non stop since January, it can so hard since I have to do it minimal supports from friends/families. I practice like 1-2 hours a day and most of the time alone. It can be so tiring, unbearable and emotional cause sometimes I got carried and rush everything.
But then I just have to do it , cause I love myself and I know this is what I want :))
