This plant is so happy! And other pictures of my house - just rehung some art!

Finallly got my house looking good! And people like to brag about their pets, so ill take the opportunity to brag about my plant! Got it last spring, put it in a bigger pot in the winter i think. A few weeks ago,
I put it upstairs in my library but i could tell it wasnt too sure about the room and the south facing window. So yesterday when i redid the living room, i returned this lovely plant, which i think is an arrowhead plant, but ill call it Bella, back to its window seat. Now it is blooming in three places!!! Cool huh? So right now i am getting ready to go to my first festival ever -i will totally steem all about it - but i thought while i wait for my attorney to finish packing, id show you what i did to the house yesterday, maybe give you some ideas.

First, i refurbished this floor lamp:

Here it is closer, guess what, the yellow part is an old tupperware bowl -

Hotglued some shells and a little turtle friend and there you go, lamp a la mode!

We are blessed to have so much vibrant art in the house! The staircase sill:

The neon sign above it is from my book release party the other day. I know i promised videos, but they arent ready yet and honestly, they dont capture the specialness of the night (translation: i need to work on my public poem reading). But i will for sure post some poems and videos for yall! But it will have to wait til i get back! Like i said, im off to experience this festival life thing ive heard so much about! Wish me luck and i will let you know what happens to me out on the world. 🍍🍍
