Life's Value

Human existence in this world is extremely brief. It is like a flower which blooms for a while, a shadow which disappears when the sun shines, a vapor which passes away at a wink of an eye, a tale that is told momentarily.

Just how short is the tale of your life? Well, first you were born in the world. You grew up as an infant. You spent your carefree childhood days under parental roofs. You developed into a young person full of dreams, aspirations and idealism. You got married and raised a family, perhaps established yourself in business or in some professions and prospered some what in the middle age, then come the retirement, the white hair, the failing eyesight, and the short steps...

Let us remember the life hangs by a very fragile threaf. Perhaps a virus, maybe a vehicular accident, by chance a heart attack, or possibly even by a stray bullet may cause one to rushed to the emergency room....then comes the beginning of the end. The grand finale does not vary too much from person to another. You may succumb to a comma first and then this may be follwed by a period. Such a short tale of ypur life and mine, which shows that we are still in the territory of the enemy.

In spite of the brevity of our human life in this worls are not you glad you are still alive at this moment? As for me the reason why I am still opting to live in spite of hard times is because I can't afford to die yet. But when the inevitable comes, whether I like it or not, I simply have to say "Goodbye" to everything in life.

Lastly, we are born and we begin to die; the countdown starts in the momment that we commence our life journey. Do you realize that today is the first day of the rest of your life? Every second that ticks, every minute that passes, every hour, day, week, month, and year, you are that much closer to death or our Lord's return. Let us pray that the Lord will teach us to number our days that we may gain wisdom in our hearts..❤❤❤
