Computer Says 'YES'!
As you know, I've had some computer issues and I'm still running on much less RAM than I would like, however, I've been speaking with @thevillan who has encouraged me to look into building my own 'rig'...!
So, I've been looking at all the RGB fans, liquid cooling and casings with really cool side windows that are available these days, I'm pretty sure I'll be taking his advice and building something... well, much better than what I'm struggling with now.
Of course, this was all brought about by a dead laptop and stupidly, I hadn't backed up most files. As it stands, I'm trying not to think about it too much as most of it can be reproduced or is (somewhat) irrelevant and there's no use crying over spilt milk.
(Thankfully, I did back up all my photography - huge sigh of relief !)
Anyhoo, I found a couple of graphics on the new hard-drive and in an effort to relieve my withdrawal from photoshopping, I've updated my profile photo with a new green planet graphic. Hope you like it.
With a little bit of planning and a whole lot of patience, I hope to be back to tech-normal soon but as they say, the change is as good as a holiday and sometimes it's those stupid mistakes that make you stop and take notice so you can adjust your aim, a bit higher.
Thanks for stopping by and reading my post, I really do appreciate your time.
And remember to keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're thinking...!

You should be able to access your laptop harddrive still and recover stuff from it.
Just plug in harddrive to power and sata from your pc and access it :)
Unless the hard drive died

Yes, (yay!) that's what I was hoping... btw, I'd had a look at finances today and managed to tuck some away so this is getting REAL now. Thanks for your all your help :)
Nice can't wait to see the progress :)
No worries

Have fun building your own rig 😄 There’s a lot of advantages to doing so (unless you’re old and grouchy like me 🤣).

Well, I am old and grouchy... but not with computers lol ;) TBH I'm pretty excited about building it myself.
