10 great books every entrepreneur should read in 2017

in #life7 years ago (edited)

If you want to start a business, you need to invest permanently in your training. Reading is the most handy method to do this.

Access to information is unlimited, so there is no excuse. Think you can read in a single weekend, in 200 pages, information that experts around the world have studied and analyzed for years, dedicating their whole life to answering a question.

You can never know too much when it comes to how you start, lead and develop a business. In addition, a true leader is a person who always wants to evolve and learn. I made a selection of 10 books that any enthusiastic and creative entrepreneur should read.

  1. The Psychology of Selling by Brian Tracy
  2. The Startup of You: Adapt to the Future, Invest in Yourself and Transform Your Career by Reid Hoffman
  3. The $100 Startup by Chris Gillebeau
  4. The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss
  5. Click Millionaires by Scott Fox
  6. Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss
  7. The Effective Executive by Peter Drucker
  8. The Innovator's Dilemma by Clayton Christensen
  9. Business Adventures by John Brooks
  10. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

And these are 3 quotes that motivate me and I really like them:

“Do not be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.” - Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group.

“Ideas are easy. Implementation is hard.” - Guy Kawasaki, founder of AllTop.

“If you’re not a risk taker, you should get the hell out of business.” - Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald’s.

Which is your favorite book that guides you in life?

Thanks for your nice comment :*

Hey @allesia,

Thanks for curating an awesome list.

I am reading "Think and Grow Rich", it's really a great book. It teaches us being rich is not about how much money we have it's about the mindset we have.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad is another book which really helped me to understand how to invest money.

Thanks :)

Indeed, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert T. Kiyosaki and "Think and Grow Rich" by Greg Habstritt & Napoleon Hill are two well-known books I have in my library.

These books open our mind to new opportunities that lead us to success. At the same time, these books tell us that in this competitive world it is not good to be shy.

Thank you for your comment. All the best for you! :*

That's a very interesting list there! I've read think and grow rich and maybe the next one will be the one from Brian Tracy. :)

Brian Tracy is one of my favorite authors. My favorite book is "The Psychology of Selling".

From his books we discover a lot of ideas and techniques that help us in what we plan to do. All the best for you :*

Thanks for putting this list together! Although I'm not much of a reader, i definitely want to get back into it. Seems like a good place to start. Cheers :)

I'm glad you liked my list of books. Business books help us in our career, give us tricks and tips on how to invest, so they can be the key to our personal and professional development. Thank you for your comment
