6. Political path.

Around the year 1947, Pablo Picasso decided to leave by the French communist party, due to the great feeling of indignation that had to him to the fascismo of that time. The Soviet Union awarded him the Stalin Peace Prize in 1950, and in 1962 he was awarded the International Lenin Prize for Peace. He always remained in that political party until he passed away.

7. Entering the Guinness Book of Records.

Due to the extensive production of works created by Picasso, the Guinness Book of Records named Pablo Picasso as the most prolific artist on the planet: His collection consists of approximately 300 sculptures, 34,000 illustrations, 100,000 prints and 13,500 paintings

8. Theft of the smooth monkey.

Pablo Picasso and his poet friend Guillaume Apollinaire were arrested and questioned by the police because they were the main suspects of this event. After his interrogation no guilty result and both friends were left in libertas.

Between 1901 and 1904, Picasso used primary colors and among these the most used was the color blue. Something very peculiar of him was that his paintings were very sad, he used to paint beggars. Later his art was happy and began to paint clowns. One of its most interesting periods was that of the African masks, which began in 1908 and a year later begins its extraordinary period: the cubist.

10. His most expensive painting.

The dream or "La Rêve" is a portrait of Marie-Therese Walter, one of the women of Pablo Picasso. This work was sold in 2013 for an amount of 155 million dollars and became one of the most expensive paintings in the world.
