One by one

Everything stacks

Our shoulders get heavier

Circles under our eyes get darker

Emotions become ungathered

Until the skies grow darker

Until we fall apart

Until our tears drop

Like rain from the sky

Only when we stop

Only when we realise

Only when we cry

Only when the rainclouds

Finally let go

Only then the skies will clear

Only then the sun will arrive

And only then we will be able

To set ourselves free
