Bike experience/trajectory

in #life8 years ago (edited)

I've loved motorbikes since I was a little kid, and the first experience that I have driving one was a really old 50cc that my cousin's boyfriend used to have, then when I was going to school I convince my father to bought an Honda CR 125 and I learned how to drive with gears, It was such a great time, going in the woods andstarting to make my first mistakes.

Then I wanted to try something with more power and I post an online ad to see if someone wanted to make a change and so it was, I changed it for a Quad Polaris trailblazer 250 (automatic).

A couple of weeks of having it I noticed that quads aren't for me, I preffer two wheels, so I spend about one or two months with it and I decided to do the same thing, so I post another ad. After some time with it online, I changed it for an Honda NSR 125 R.

what a fun bike to learn, but I don't know If this bike would be the best to start with, it has a lot of power for a 125cc, but it's well made, and if you know what you are doing you are going to have a lot of fun, and it's a really beautiful machine, sadly I don't have it any more, I sold it because I don't want to maintain more bikes that I can ride.
My father used to be a “rider” too, he have had some bikes in the past (trial, road...) , but since I'm here He has only had two, one Vespa Primavera (that he gave to my cousin) and a Yamaha XT 600 E.

That was the reason of the sell, he was not usually driving his bike so I decided to make some arrangements and he gave it to me, (it was stopped anyway) I think this motorcycle it's not the best in any aspect but it can do a lot of things and it's really fun to drive it. I'm going to make it some upgrades soon.

Last this is a bike that I never thought I would have, one day I remembered an old bike that my uncle used to have in his basement, so one day in his home I asked him about that bike and he said, you want it? If I don't have to load it it's yours, the next day I was there with a friend and a truck and this is what I ended up having, Montesa cota 348 Malcom Rathmell:

After some work, I've made some achievements here (it was stopped for about 20 years) and I hope some day I can have some fun riding it (already start at least) but the paper work is slower than mechanical.

Will see what happens, I have so many ideas for so little time and money.

Here you can see a video of the NSR and the XT.

What the motorcycle community think?
what bike do you have or want to have?
have you ever ride one of these?
Hope you like it.
Be safe!!

Great post bro, if you ever want to sell The montesa, let me know, I love them, had 3 so far.

I will, but I want to have some fun with it, will see, I believe transportation to Poland will not be cheap hahaha Thanks bro!

I did bring a gas gas here from Spain. I took the wheels off it, and put it in the back of my Audi a3. Where there is a will there is a way bro.

Wow I see you're not joking, I'll love to see your collection and try some of those, It's just for your entertainment?

Yes I keep them for my daughter I suppose, I fix them, I buy them, I keep them for now. She gets them in the end. I take them to bike shows n the spring and summer, to let people look at them and ride them also.

Sounds great, hope she likes bikes and can appreciate it, I'm waiting to see some of those shows, there will be some rare things, thank you so much for the push!
