Ivan, why I cant't pay you with crypto?

This is a public message to @ivanli

I have followed Ivan On Tech for several months and I very much like his videos and the insights that "a programmer explains" have to say about the crypto world and blockchain technology. So first of all I would like to say: thank you and good work. For those who still do not know who's Ivan go check his channel on YouTube or his Steemit blog, links follows.

Recently he announced an online course on blockchain and crypto applications he is gonna teach on his website (Academy.IvanOnTech.com) that seems very cool, I appreciate the pedagogy that his views as a developer can enrich crypto enthusiasts like me, specially when he remarks the focus for a non-programmer audience and the chance to deep in this kind of technical areas that are so important at the moment to keep track of the market and crypto investments.  The Blockchain Academy, as he calls it, seems a fine educational investment for me, and currently he promotes a pre-sale that gives you the course for half the price that it will end February 1st, so it seems this is the time to get on board. Now, my complaints comes when I tried to sign up and I realize that the only payment methods for this crypto course it is only credit/debit card and PayPal! I mean, isn't it the point in adopt and spread the word about crypto and blockchain actually start using it? Even more in this kind of cases a fundamental payment method?

@Ivanli, why you do not let me/us to pay for this fine course with cryptocurrency?

I get it if you say that is about the problem with Bitcoin high fees, I really get that because is not worth it to pay 20 bucks on fees when the actually price of the class is less than $100 usd, but I would imagine that you are familiar if not an actual user (and maybe holder) of other fine coins that do not have this problem, like Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum or even our beloved tokens Steem or Steem Dollars. This just really surprised me and disappointed me a little.

I'm not writing this with any kind of hate or anger towards you, believe me, I am a fan, I just really wonder why? Because for my particular situation I can't sign up because I have the limitation of not having a credit/debit card that works internationally and I do not have a PayPal account either, that is precisely why I use cryptocurrencies, the traditional banking system was not meant for people like me coming from Venezuela and living out of internet economy.

I hope this message gets to you, and maybe you could help me and maybe others with the same concerns and limitations I have.

Thank you once again,

Dearly,

Alberto

Don’t worry, there’s plenty of free learning material out there anyway!

I know the internet is full of free knowledge, but I kind got excited about this one. But just in case, do you have any specific source to recommend? Thank you @jeffjagoe

Listen to Andreas Antonopoulos talk on YouTube :)

Andreas is the best!

That's actually a fair question

Thats a good question

Que Mas Parcero?, I like the guy too

Am new around here and liking what I am finding. Interesting dynamics afoot where appreciable value is earned for asking a good question.

Hope that @Ivanli will explain that in FAQ. It should definitely be mentioned by him.
Maybe crypto tax in Sweden?
