Meet Isaiah Bird, an 8-year-old boy from Long Beach, N.Y. who might just be the most inspirational 8-year-old ever.
Isaiah was born with a birth defect that left him without legs.
But having no legs didn't hold Isaiah back. Instead, he found strength on the wrestling mat.
And a father figure in his compassionate wrestling coach.
On the wrestling mat, Isaiah has been dominating the competition!
And off the wrestling mat, Isaiah has had to endure personal battles.
He's had to live in a church shelter with his mother and brother.
And he's had to get around on his hands because they couldn't afford to buy him a wheelchair.
All of Isaiah setbacks didn't hold him back. Instead, they made him a true champion not only on the wrestling mat, but also in life.
Isaiah had every excuse in the world, but that didn't stop him. So what's your excuse?
