👉Save your children from the menace of porn.

In the morning I saw shocking news in a newspaper. Five boys of nine to fourteen years age raped a minor girl of eight years. They were her neighbors who took her one of the boy’s house and raped her. Girl’s parents knew of the incident when an elder came there and saw them raping the girl. A case was registered against them in the police station and the police arrested them.

When police interrogated them, they told that they were playing a game on a Smartphone. They told that they accidentally started a porn video which made them curious and ultimately prompted them to imitate whatever was in the video. So, a porn video distorted kids’ mind and caused them to commit a horrific crime.

It is clear that those kids had no earlier history of crime. They were not fully aware of sexual intercourse. They were just ordinary kids who committed such a horrific crime after watching a porn video. Supporters of porn see nothing bad in the proliferation of porn in every walk of life. They support porn because it is their business. Can you imagine that a butcher will support the vegan movement? Can a drug dealer support capital punishment for selling drug? No, never! Everyone supports his/her business, no matter how disgusting and immoral that business may be.

Sex is a basic need of humans. It is a nature’s gift for humanity without which mankind cannot progress. It is just like urges to have food or sleep. Sex is not an evil thing but when some people exploit this natural urge to fulfill their greed of wealth; it doesn’t stay a matter of right to business. This natural gift becomes a menace which destroys the society and pollutes the young minds.

Sex is depicted violently in porn movies. Especially, woman is depicted as lifeless thing in porn movies. Gang-bang, anal sex, sex between close relatives, rape sex, etc. are shown in porn movies which make an impression on man’s mind that woman is only a sex tool who has no feeling of her own. They begin to think that whatever they do with a woman; will not be confronted by her.

These days craze for child porn is increasing. Evil minded adults see children as sex objects. These days tendencies for unnatural sex and child raping are increasing day by day. Even a girl child of a few weeks is not safe from these devils. They rape a toddler; they rape a ninety-year-old woman, and they rape even boys, if they find chances. In India, we have to watch news of child rape, gang rape etc. in news channels and newspapers. Rapists are making videos of the victim for fun. They are killing the victim after torturing and severing her body. Rapists are crossing every limit of cruelty. In some incidents they mutilated victim's private parts, cut her into pieces or burn her alive after rape. Is this not like zombie apocalypse? It is clear that proliferation of porn is one of the big reason for these types of barbaric incidents.

I have seen that these days parents let their kids to use their mobile phones. They receive porn through WhatsApp and other social media messaging apps which kids are free to see and watch. Even toddlers of one to two years are so smart that they can open YouTube and other video sites on mobiles. Suddenly a pop-up comes from nowhere which kids open accidently. Porn and soft porn is everywhere on electronic media. Television and cinema is serving porn and nudity in advertisements, serials, shows and movies to us. It is a pretext that sexual scene in a movie was the demand of the story but it is not true. Movie makers include sex scenes deliberately in their movies because they know well that only sex sells. They also sell sex in the name of art.

Nudity and vulgarity is being promoted by our main stream media and internet which is corrupting the society. Porn is spreading in every walk of life which is detrimental to the health of society. Some years ago an adolescent boy and his younger sister killed their own mother because she had caught them red-handed while they were indulged in a sexual act. They told that they were incited by the porn movies which were aired late night on television. There are many examples which tell us about the bad effect of porn on youngsters’ mind. Therefore, proliferation of porn must be restricted so that the safety of our children may be ensured.
