Quality and time; how to merge these two abstracts and get more of both in our daily lives.

The sentence above will be the focus of this writing in relation to “Our Farm”. If you are new to these writings, the basic core principle and the benefit focus within this series is to:

“Increase the joy in our lives by allowing much more free time for ourselves, our family and our friends, to get back in touch with nature and to become a more resilient people via food, energy and economic independence”.

The nucleus of these efforts is called “Our Farm”.

Well said, Mr. Tellinger. And we don’t have a right to enslave ourselves either, only the absence of mind to allow it.

As your world turns

How much time within a given week do you feel that you need for yourself?

Quality time for meditation, exercise, time with loved ones, creative time, educational time, time for a walk, exercise time, time for a good book. Are you currently satisfied with your current amount of “me” time?

After accounting for all of one given day and how most of us spend our time, there are about 4.5 hours left for available “me” time. That doesn't mean that you will have that time all to yourself, but that is the average potential. Those Four and one half hours just aren’t providing a quality life for most of us. How about you? The weekends that are supposed to provide us a relief valve end up slipping away in chores that could not be accomplished during the week. This model of the rat race is also where 72% of us are living paycheck to paycheck. It is controlled and maintained dysfunction. We all need to expeditiously find a better way to live and then divorce ourselves from this deceitful entrapment.

Remember that out of the 8 hours of work in a day that you are getting paid for, around 30% of that amount is extracted for taxes in some form. This means that during a full work week, of the 50 hours that you invest in your precious time including a work lunch and commute time, only 28 hours of this time directly benefits you. That’s pretty close to half.

Depressing, isn’t it? Maybe these are some key factors that are helping contribute to our nations opioid and anti-depressant epidemic.

What’s the solution?

I like Samuel Clements advance foresight advice.

“20 years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the one's you did do. So throw off the bow lines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”- Mark Twain

This bit of advice is quite profound. It’s getting those darn bow lines unraveled that flusters most of us. The ship never leaves the dock. Unraveling the bow lines represents the difficulty we anticipate in detaching ourselves from the cocoon of our security blanket. We all want our ship to be into the blue waters with our sails filled with 15 knots of freedom, venturing forth; as Captain James T. Kirk so eloquently put it “Out There!”

The bottom line is that many of us are gung ho, ready to go but that darn mortgage payment, the car payment, the credit cards and excuses into infinity tend to cement any real advancement. The desire to break away is there, but the real danger can lie in the “I can not, but I must”, which can short circuit one’s soul. Learning to exercise fortitude will be essential.

As the concepts of “Our Farm” have been forming over the years, it became evident that “Our Farm” can be the “ship” Mr. Twain is talking about. It is a direct connection out of our entrapment and seamlessly arriving into the arena of freedom and possibilities. No excuses with the “bow lines”.

A metaphysical mention

Ok, you say, “but I want more time and money for myself right now! This farm isn’t even built yet. I need help now!” Most of us do.

Turning ones life around and setting forth onto the road to happiness and prosperity is certainly possible, but first there is some training due to you on the quantum field of how this reality works. Getting what you want is actually really quite simple.

Many of us have heard about “Positive Thinking” and the “Law of Attraction” and have at some point attempted to apply these principles in our lives with limited results. I would like to introduce you to a new realm of thinking, being and doing. This concept is new to many; this formula is where you place yourself within your mind, into a future event that you desire, you feel it, be it and most importantly, inwardly know that what you desire has already happened. Feel the knowing of that new reality. Repeat this process until it is as real as your present reality. At this point the ready and waiting universe will begin to open the necessary doors.

Get good at accomplishing this thought process and magic manifests.

Your mind’s imagination is quite powerful. Within your mind, you can put yourself on a tropical beach and feel the sun touch your skin, smell the suntan lotion and taste the margarita’s salt sting on your lips all just with your imagination. We are much more powerful creators than the “powers that be” want us to know. A first class instruction book on becoming a good creator within this reality has been written by Dr. Joe Dispenza, with his book titled “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself”. You may remember Dr. Joe Dispenza as one of the panel commentators on the movie “The Secret”. Get this book and enjoy a life changing experience. I first purchased the Audible book and then had to get myself a hard copy to assist in studying the content in more depth. Having this knowledge will be imperative to you breaking free. You will not be disappointed. Pay close attention to Ghandi’s quote below. This is exactly what he is referring to in “the divine mystery supreme”.

Finding the right space to "be"

Once you take your life’s pursuit; whether it be a web designer, an artist, a mechanic, a salesperson or whatever career you have molded yourself in or desire to pursue, and then come into an “Our Farm” type community, every aspect of your life will change. We will start here with a few potentials.

Most everything you need in your life will be available within the confines of the Farm.

Entertainment, groceries, restaurants, school for your children, hiking trails, horseback riding, swimming activities, the gym, a soccer field, nightlife, monthly Tedx talk conferences for the community, biking, movies, music concerts and much more. The key factor is that you don’t need to drive anywhere. You don’t need to own a car. There is no commute. The community will have rental cars available for off property adventures. All on property transportation is via golf cart type vehicles, bicycles or horses. Tunnel connectors will also be constructed to key locations on the property.
Increase in daily quality time is approximately 1 to possibly 2 hours depending on our lifestyle due to no commute time. No vehicle ownership or insurance cost necessary.

Your new home will be an earth covered or an underground type home built into a hillside. This structure will provide the space and the light you are used to living in at a fraction of the cost considering all benefits over a 20 year period. There will be studio efficiency's that you can own all the way up to two story 4,800 square foot palaces. This structure is designed to last over 500 years and you will own this home outright much sooner than a traditional home due to the lower cost. An additional bonus is the type of banking and loan innovation that “Our Farm” will initiate. With the home cost lower and almost zero maintenance required, the “burden” of home ownership will change to the “pleasure” of home ownership.
The financial benefits of home ownership on the Farm are staggering. The amount of savings to pursue your retirement and your dreams will be within a realistic reach that could never seem to manifest in the rat race.

Leaving the stress out

The convenience factor is so overwhelming, I don’t know where to start. Fresh organic food is grown and raised within the confines of the farm and will be available fresh, frozen or canned all right on the property. The food cost will be much lower as there is no transportation costs and no distributor mark up. Fresh organic meat and vegetables, cheap!

The nightlife will be packed. With the conference center and amphitheater on property, there will always be something going on. Some venues are private and others are public. The Farm will always have a public and private amenities so your private life will not be intruded on during these public events. So again the “private” amenities are, the gym, restaurants, a clubhouse/conference center for resident meetings, a school for your children, a jogging trail, horseback riding, sunset ridge, a private brewery and tap room of our local pub, movie room, bike trails, a soccer field, a library and a never ending adventure in all things agriculture as you interact with all of the Farm’s activities and animals.

Insurance and the dust bin

Instead of traditional health insurance, the farm will offer "health assurance packages" using “Our Farm’s” medical center, offering a state of the art surgery center, emergency medicine, specialty medicine, a full lab and a natural medicine center. No other cost should ever burden you for any health challenges once you utilize this program.

With the full lab and quarterly check ups, your health will be monitored like never before. This model of care will truly be invested in keeping you healthy. This experience will be nothing like you have ever experienced with the relationship with your personal health. Money, Currency and Flow

Banking on “Our Farm” will utilize a hybrid of our nations currency and our own community currency. There are hundreds of local currencies within the continental united States. This model works much like any other currency. One of the most successful “community currencies” is called “BerkShares” and is the preferred currency in the southern Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts. For the “Our Farm” system, digital certificates will be issued and will be audited and controlled by a fiduciary. A hybrid certificate debit card will track all transactions and complete any state or federal taxes due. These certificates can be exchanged for Federal Reserve Notes as desired; all online. This internal “community currency” has huge advantages that will be discussed in detail in the future. Do a search engine search for “community currency” or “local currency” to find out more.

For our traditional banking, we have recently been researching several repositories that are offering banking services by converting your Federal Reserve Notes, gold or silver into a deposit account that denominates your deposits in gold. They also issue a credit card that can be used worldwide and converts the gold back into the dollar or whatever currency is required when you need to make purchases. This works just like credit card usage in a foreign country.

Another potential benefit is the security of gold. When our economies are challenged, gold has a tendency to shoot skyward in value. Let’s say that you take $10,000 Federal Reserve Notes and deposit into one of these repository accounts. With gold’s value at $1250 an ounce, you will have 8 ounces of gold held in that repository. Let us suppose that a week later, gold goes to $2,800 an ounce. At this point, the 8 ounces in your account is now worth $22,400. Seems like a safe path to pursue in these volatile economic times. But wait! There’s more!

“Our Farm” will be a “for profit” business with shareholders. Guess who the shareholders are!
They are, anyone who lives and works full time on “Our Farm”. Indirect contributors will still have shareholding power but the amount will be less.

This sharing of the profit is key to the magic of “Our Farm”. One should be able to work hard for no more than 20 years and then, relative to one’s contributions, be financially free to pursue their dreams in whatever fashion they desire. Social Security will eventually become irrelevant to anyone who devotes their career within this model.

I want to remind everyone of just how much money the “Our Farm” model will make each year even while paying on the original cost investment debt. In Part 3 of this series, I calculated an estimated annual before expenses gross income of 15 million dollars for “Our Farm’s” business model. There are going to be some serious profits to go around and the amount of profit sharing will be staggering as the farm matures.

Let us suppose that we have one million dollars to share at the end of the second year of functional operation. For simplicity's sake we will divide this equally to an estimated 200 employees. This equates to $5,000 per person. Since most of the profit goes to debt cancellation in the infancy of the project, this amount will increase significantly once the original construction debt has been settled. This model provides the life of joy and abundance that we are all desiring!

In a nutshell, the “Our Farm” model can be a highly desirable alternative to the dysfunctional rat race. It can be a seamless transition to where one can immediately reap the benefits of increased free time, decreased work time, time for one’s connection to mother earth, increase one’s vitality and health and be allowed to prosper in a system that is designed to benefit every man and woman in the community as a whole instead of the traditional parasitic relationships normally involved. Kind of makes sense, doesn’t it?
